The first jointly developed designs put Luxembourg’s red lion and national colours centre stage.

The two bespoke designs are among the first visible results of the new partnership between JAKO and the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Football (FLF) and will be worn by all of the Grand Duchy’s national teams over the next two seasons.

At the heart of both kits is the red lion, Luxembourg’s national symbol. On the red home shirt, the lion is given a dynamic interpretation and complemented by striking claw marks extending across the fabric. They represent determination and the ambition to leave a mark on the pitch. In this way, the design combines the traditional colour of Luxembourg’s national teams with a modern interpretation of the country’s national symbol.

The second kit also draws on the colours and symbols of Luxembourg. Moving away from the darker shades of blue used in recent years, the new base colour is more closely inspired by the light blue of the Luxembourg flag. An abstract pattern runs throughout the fabric, breaking down elements of the red lion into individual shapes and reassembling them in a new composition. A retro collar adds a classic touch to the modern design.

The two kits also mark the first time the new partnership between JAKO and the FLF will be visible on the pitch. The designs have been specifically tailored to Luxembourg’s symbols and colours, creating a unified look across all national teams. Over the next two seasons, both the youth and senior national teams will wear the same designs when representing Luxembourg on the international stage.
