Since summer 2023 JAKO has kitted out every Mainz 05 team. What unites them: responsibility for the environment and the region – and the nerve for designs you don't forget.
Recycled, not compromised
From day one Mainz have played in shirts made from recycled polyester – high quality, durable and with a smaller footprint. The leisure collection relies on organic cotton. Sustainability is not a campaign here but the standard.

Mainz identity woven in
The 2026/27 home shirt has an embossed diamond pattern of the Mainz 05 crest, “05”, the club's “M” and the city's coat of arms with the double wheel. Golden details recall the “golden city”, the city arms sit in the neck – and the carnival shirts of past years told the city's story, too.
Until 2031 – ahead of time
In December 2025 JAKO and Mainz 05 extended their contract, originally running to 2028, by three years to 2031 – a sign of trust, short paths and many shared projects.
